Breathalyzer (a portmanteau of breath and analyzer) is a device for estimating blood alcohol content (BAC) from a breath sample. Breathalyzer is the brand name of series models made by a manufacturer of these instruments (originally Smith and Wesson, later sold to National Draeger), but has become a generalized name for all such instruments.

Semiconductor breathalyzer’s blow tube
Specification:-
The alcohol concentration in your body will change over time. Don’t be fooled by what the Internet describes. This is more than just calculating your weight, age, and gender. If you are fasting or tired, alcohol can easily enter your blood, you are more likely to get drunk and have a higher BAC reading.
- Mouthpiece: Install this blow tube into the gas inlet of the tester. It make sure that the gas sample is taken directly from your mouth and lung and will not mix with the ambient air

Important information
When alcohol enters the blood through the alimentary canal (mouth, stomach, and intestines), it is distributed through every part of the body, including the lungs. This period will last for at least 15 min. before stable. If user direct blow very high concentration into the sensor, its surface will be surrounded by lots of ethanol particles, which need to wait for 10 min for evaporation.
